These clamps are very sturdy, easy to clamp down hard, the threads turn smoothly, and as far as I can tell they are pretty rust resistent.I purchased 10 of these to use for wide panel glue-ups, where I place a clamp at each glue joint (sometimes with and sometimes without a straight edge to clamp against).I find that this helps me to align the boards perfectly while the glue is still wet and thus I have a lot less sanding to do later.The threads on these clamps are fine enough that I can really ease up to the maximum pressure I am going for without clamping with too much force.In the rare instances when I have really wanted to apply some torque with these, the handles have not flexed or bent at all (which is a problem with some of the cheaper c-clamps I have used).If you have a need for some small c-clamps, I highly recommend these!
